Welcome
It is a pleasure and honor to welcome all
participants to the GMEPE-PAHCE 2020 event, which will be held in Pabellón de
México, venue of the International Doctorate School of the University of
Seville. Like in previous editions, we conceive GMEPE-PAHCE 2020 as an
independent forum for the discussion about advances in emergent technologies and
innovations in procedures and techniques, equipment and instrumentation, merging
the healthcare industry and medical staff with engineering and technical
professionals, in addition to those related with health information
technologies, academia, hospitals and related fields.
The 21st century is being characterized by the
appearance and use of emergent technologies that are pushing a notable impact on
healthcare and contributing to the improvement of citizens’ quality of life in a
context requiring the solution of new challenges of medicine from an inclusive,
sustainable perspective, and respectful with the environment.
Seville, capital of Andalusia is a millenary town
with a rich artistic heritage, as a consequence of the fusion of the three
cultures. The conjunction of its weather, history and natural resources,
together with the open character of its population, has shaped it as a modern,
cosmopolitan town, with international projection at the technological transfer
and biomedical research levels.
We are sure that you will enjoy a wonderful
experience visiting Seville during your participation in GMEPE-PAHCE from March
30th to April 3rd, 2020.

Es un placer y un honor dar la
bienvenida a todos los participantes en el evento GMEPE-PAHCE 2020, que se
celebra en el Pabellón de México, sede de la Escuela Internacional de Doctorado
de la Universidad de Sevilla. Al igual que en ediciones previas, hemos
pretendido que GMEPE-PAHCE sea un foro independiente para la discusión de
avances en tecnologías emergentes e innovaciones en procedimientos y técnicas,
equipos e instrumentación, que reúnen a la industria del cuidado de la salud con
personal médico y profesionales técnicos y de la ingeniería, además de los
relacionados con las tecnologías de la información sanitaria, sectores
académicos, hospitales y otros campos relacionados.
El siglo XXI está caracterizándose
por la aparición y uso de tecnologías emergentes que están teniendo un notable
impacto en el cuidado de la salud y contribuyendo a la mejora de la calidad de
vida de la ciudadanía en un contexto que requiere el abordaje de los nuevos
desafíos de la medicina desde una perspectiva inclusiva, sostenible y respetuosa
con el medio ambiente.
Sevilla, capital de Andalucía, es
una ciudad milenaria con una rica herencia artística como consecuencia de la
fusión de las tres culturas. La conjunción de su clima, historia y recursos
naturales y el carácter abierto de sus habitantes, la han conformado como una
ciudad moderna, cosmopolita, y con proyección internacional a nivel de
transferencia de investigación tecnológica e investigación biomédica.
Estamos seguros de que disfrutarán
de una maravillosa experiencia visitando Sevilla durante su participación en el
GMEPE-PAHCE entre el 30 de marzo y el 3 de abril de 2020.

É um prazer e uma honra receber todos os participantes do evento
GMEPE-PAHCE 2020, que será realizado em Pabellón de México, sede da Escola
Internacional de Doutorado da Universidade de Sevilha.
Como nas edições anteriores, o GMEPE-PAHCE 2020 é um fórum
independente para a discussão sobre avanços em tecnologias, inovações em
procedimentos e técnicas, equipamentos e instrumentação, de forma a mesclar o
setor de saúde e a equipe médica com profissionais de engenharia, técnicos, e
pessoas relacionadas às tecnologias da informação em saúde, universidades,
hospitais e áreas afins.
O século XXI está sendo caracterizado pelo surgimento e uso de
tecnologias emergentes que estão causando um impacto notável na saúde, e
contribuindo para a melhoria da qualidade de vida dos cidadãos em um contexto
que exige a solução de novos desafios da medicina de uma perspectiva inclusiva,
sustentável e com respeito ao meio ambiente.
