Welcome to the 9th Pan American Health Care Exchanges Conference - PAHCE 2014, an event designed to create opportunities for cooperation, coordination and mutual enrichment between research groups, health professionals and industry-related. This event discusses recent technology-driven medical practices, biomedical and bioengineering progress, new techniques and applications in health sciences across the continent. The program includes activities in three official languages (English, Spanish and Portuguese), but it is recommended that all materials should be presented and shared in a unique format and language to ensure wide distribution.

The PAHCE 2014 will be held in Brasilia, Brazil, which is quite unique in every detail. The urban design allows visitors to enjoy the beautiful blue sky, enjoy the natural luster and skyline, always within the range of vision. Its architecture, unique among others in the world, makes the city the largest open-air collection of modern architecture. Also, Brasília will host the World Cup in 2014, which is a great opportunity to know it better.The population is proud to live in a city considered World Heritage. Brasilia has the third largest fleet of boats in Brazil, with more than 6,000 registered vessels. The seasons are very well programmed, free of rain for a long period of the year, favoring the practice of free and ultra light flight, hang gliding, and parachuting, among other sports that depend on the stability of the climate. The quality of the hotel industry is first world, with the advantage of the catering section be located near three of Brasilia's best parks.

Bienvenido al 9º Intercambio Pan Americano de Asistencia Médica, Pan American Health Care Exchanges Conference - PAHCE 2014, un evento destinado a crear oportunidades de cooperación, articulación y enriquecimiento mutuo entre los grupos de investigación, profesionales de salud y relacionados con la industria. Este evento aborda prácticas médicas orientadas para la tecnología, progresos de la biomedicina y bioingeniería, avanzos recientes y nuevas técnicas y aplicaciones en ciencias de la salud. El programa incluye actividades en tres idiomas (inglés, español y Portugués). Se recomienda a los participantes que los materiales presentados sean compartidos en formatos e idioma que garanticen su distribución.

PAHCE 2014 tendrá como sede la ciudad de Brasilia- Brasil, que es una ciudad única en cada detalle. El diseño urbanístico permite a los visitantes apreciar el bello cielo azul, apreciar el brillo natural y la línea del horizonte, siempre al alcance de la visión. La arquitectura, única en el mundo, hace de la ciudad el mayor acervo a cielo abierto de la arquitectura moderna. La población tiene el orgullo de vivir en una ciudad considerada, Patrimonio Mundial de la Humanidad. Además, Brasilia será sede de la Copa del Mundo en 2014, que es una gran oportunidad para conocerla mejor. Brasilia posee la tercera mayor frota de barcos en el Brasil, con más de 6.000 embarcaciones registradas. Las estaciones del año son bien programadas, libres de lluvias por un largo período del año, favoreciendo la práctica de vuelo libre, parapente, ala delta, así mismo de paracaidismo, entre otros deportes que dependen de la estabilidad del clima. La calidad de la industria hotelera es de primer mundo, con la ventaja del sector hotelero estar localizado próximo a tres de los mejores parques de la ciudad.
